AirQuiz has been
mentioned in a number of publications, both online and in print:
The (unsolicited) comments below are from users and instructors: in their own words. My CAA examiner recommended AirQuiz to me and it was great advice. First time pass in all subjects - brilliant. Hi guys, just a quick note to say thank you. Passed the last of the 7 exams this week, First time pass on each one, couldn't have done it without you! Thanks again. Your site has been 100% helpful for my PPL examinations. I've now passed them all including the dreaded Air Law at an average of 92%. IMC next. Thanks! I've subsequently gone on to get 95% in Flight Planning and 100% in both Human Performance and Meteorology, and I'm convinced this has everything to do with being able to test my knowledge via your questions! So thank you! Today, I passed with flying colours the Aircraft General & Principles of Flight exam and there is no doubt that your practice questions helped me to identify my weak areas in advance, so the extra studying prompted as a result helped me out no end when it came to the real thing. Thank you! What can I say? Brilliant. Just passed Air Law and flown solo. Your service is unbeatable for the money and this has been the best recommendation my instructor has made so far. AirQuiz is proving to be a nice partner to the ground school. Hello, I have my PPL licence in my hands and have taken my Wife for our first flight. Thank you for providing such an invaluable tool to passing my exams. At 53 I found it very difficult to study after so many years. Airquiz allowed me to test the level of my knowledge and also learn. I shall look in from time to time to ensure my knowledge stays at the required level. I have told all the new students at the flying club about you. I passed my RT written paper today, meaning I've now finished all the written exams, for my JAA PPL course. I have used airquiz for each of the subjects and found it to be an excellent method of self testing, and revision. Whilst the PPL confuser seems to have examples of questions that actually appear in the official exam, your questions are put in such a way, so as to really test ya students knowledge of the subject. I often found areas where my knowledge was lacking, and you always took time to explain things that didn't make sense first time around. Many thanks for a terrific study aid. Just to let you know I passed Air Law last week with
85% and immediately afterwards was sent off for my first solo:) Your online
quiz was certainly helpful. I'll be signing up for Met asap. Passed my last ground exam this morning, which was R/T. Thank you for the help that Airquiz has given me over the last few weeks, it is an impressive facility and very good value for money. Wish I'd found it before! And if you need any more testimonials confirming the usefulness of your site, I've just passed my Met exam with 100%. Can't ask for more than that! Thanks for your excellent website, it is really good practice for the exams. I shall contact you soon regarding Navigation. I have now successfully completed all of my ground exams. Airquiz has been an enormous help and I attribute the fact that I passed every module first time with at least 80% to the fact that I had Airquiz at my disposal. Just to let you know I have passed all the ground
exam's for my PPL (A). Thanks for all the help and advice and of
course the web site, which I will continue to use to keep my knowledge up to
date. The exams really helped in preparation for the 'real' thing.
I've really enjoyed this style of development. Just the GFT and the
NFT to go...!! Like to say that the system and service is very good. Up to now I have passed all my exams with flying colours. The questions are at about the same standard as those in the actual exams and you use the same or similar phraseology which helps. Just to let you know that on Monday this week, I passed Principles of Flight and Aircraft General with 82%. This is my 5th consecutive 1st-time pass, and the last three exam successes were, in my view, largely attributable to the help I got from using AirQuiz. Thanks again, this is a really great site! My flying instructor at the Plymouth School of Flying told me about it, he too is well impressed, and promotes it to all the student pilots at the school. AirQuiz is one of the true bargains in aviation. Only wish it had been around when I started my exams but used it to check I was ready for the last of them. Also has the advantage over the Confuser of including the R/T written. As many mock exams as you like, all for just £3 per subject. Excellent support too, should you need it. Invaluable for every trainee pilot, and an excellent way of staying current even after qualifying. (Qualified pilots, take note from this comment from an examiner! Remember, your AirQuiz registration lasts for 2 years) All in all, I reckon that AirQuiz set me in pretty good stead for the exam - along with my own studying, of course. Thanks very much for your excellent service, I passed my final exam (for now!) today, with 100%. If I recall correctly that's 3 subjects with 100%, 3 with 90% and 1 with 85% (Law). You'll note that I didn't do any practice exams for the law. I reckon I'd have struggled a bit with all the other subjects if it hadn't been for your practice papers, so thanks again. Just thought I'd let you know - I got 100% on my Human Performance & Limitations exam this week. Thanks a lot. Your practice tests really helped - both for my knowledge / accuracy and my confidence. I wonder if it would be a good idea to give people the
option of html or plain text emails with their scores?
(We agreed, and built this idea in to the AirQuiz
system, releasing it in May 2004) I passed Aircraft General & Principles of Flight, with the same mark as my last airquiz ! Just to let you know I have passed both the exams that I used Airquiz for. 98% in aircraft general and 95% in flight planning. Along with the text books and the confuser, Airquiz has contributed to my success. Thanks very much for sorting this out for me. 10 out of 10 for fixing this problem quickly and effectively. (Yes, we have the occasional problem too. But we pride ourselves on fixing problems fast.) Just want to drop you a line to say thanks for all the time and effort you are putting in to upgrade the AirQuiz questions site. It is a fanatastic utility and very useful and well organised I passed with 84% and your tests papers were really
helpful and in truth very similar to the real questions. Further, you may like to know that I just passed Air Law with 92%, thanks in part to your fine service :-) Do you know, your site is brilliant. It is such a good way to learn. I may be some sort of masochist, but I am really enjoying the challenge. Housework and other essentials are being neglected - what the heck - life is too short to worry about trivialities like that! A big up for Airquiz.com.... Passed Air Law today, first attempt. 82.5%. Quite chuffed. Hi Guys; Just a word of thanks for your help in
passing my latest exam, Aircraft Technical. I really struggled with this
one, why I don`t know, passed all the others ,no problem. Thanks again! The Airquiz system has been very useful and for the money pretty unbeatable. Many thanks for Air Quiz. Passed Air Law today first
time @ 93%. Couldn't have done it without AirQuiz I've passed my Air Law!!!!! Many many thanks for the
help from Air Quiz - it certainly made the learning more fun than just
ploughing through Thom and the Confuser - it's much easier on the internet -
saves fiddling with bits of paper! If you use testimonials at all then how about - "92.5% on Air Law and 95% on Meteorology at the first try thanks to AirQuiz, I certainly know what I'll be using to help me prepare for the remaining exams." Your website is excellent and has really helped - keep
up the good work Last week I successfully passed my Airlaw and much of that pass had to do with the availability and usefulness of your Quiz. So..... A huge relief to me and a big thank you to you. Is there any way of attaching the performance tables or other graphs to the answers in the results emails? (Another good idea, we thought. This suggestion was implemented in May 2004) I've just taken the new CAA Flight performance and planning exam. No problem with the exam - thanks in large part to your tests, I got 100%. If you ever want a testimonial, ask me! Just a quick note to say well done. This is a great service and well worth the money, I am taking my air law exam tomorrow and I have found this service extremely usefully in doing revision and estimating test readiness. I have found your site invaluable to doing my PPL exams. My RT license exams are the only ones left before the skills test so hopefully not too long before issue of my first PPL! Very neat site I have to say - just a pity I get the
answers wrong! Very impressed with the AirQuiz site - in particular the fact that the database is updated regularly. Keeps it up to date with the CAA exams. Just done the Radiotelephony exam! Passed with ease - now Ive just got the RT practical to do! I've just passed my Meteorology exam - only got one wrong! Thank you for creating these practice tests for pilots! Next examination here we go... Aircraft Tech next. |
